Item 1: Curve Eligibility

Description: The Committee met to review the eligibility of Curve (CRV) for the Bitwise Crypto Indexes. Curve is currently a constituent of the Bitwise Decentralized Finance Crypto Index.

Vote: After reviewing emerging news and technical data, the Committee voted 3-0 to revoke Curve’s eligibility under Rule III.B.ii.b of the methodology. The rule allows assets “to be removed (from the indexes) on a same-day basis by a unanimous vote of the quorum of members of the Bitwise Crypto Index Committee.”

Curve will be removed from the index at 4pm ET following the public posting of this notice.  In this case, that means the removal will take place on August 1, 2023.

The index will reallocate Curve’s weight to the remaining nine constituents of the index until the next monthly rebalance, when a tenth asset will be restored.
